The third beta of the upcoming macOS 13 Ventura operating system, which is scheduled to debut this autumn, was seeded by Apple today. Two weeks have passed since Apple gave developers access to the second beta.

Betas are available through the Software Update feature in System Preferences after the proper profile has been installed, and registered developers can get them through the Apple Developer Center.

Stage Manager is a new feature in macOS Ventura that enables users to concentrate on one activity while keeping other apps available for quick task switching. With the addition of Continuity Camera, you can now utilize your iPhone as a webcam for your Mac. Center Stage, Workspace View (for displaying your desk), and Studio Light are supported.

FaceTime now supports Handoff, allowing you to switch calls between your iPhone, iPad, and Mac at any time. Messages also offer the ability to mark an iMessage as unread, unsend an iMessage, and mark as unread. The Messages app now supports SharePlay as well.

The Mac now has weather and clock apps, and the Mail app allows you to schedule and cancel emails for up to 10 seconds after they’ve been sent. System Settings, which was formerly known as System Preferences, has an iOS-inspired interface.
