Apple has confirmed that the third season of the hit comedic drama series “Ted Lasso” would be available on Apple TV+ in the spring, though no exact date has been provided.

“Ted Lasso” has won numerous honors and is one of Apple’s most popular TV series to date. Jason Sudeikis stars as a small-time college football coach from Kansas who is hired to lead a professional soccer team in England despite having no coaching expertise.

The award-winning series’ return will most likely be its final installment. Cast members announced their departures on social media shortly after the third season concluded in November, and Apple has made no mention of a fourth season.

The news of the show’s comeback in the spring came when Apple presented at the winter Television Critics Association press tour on Wednesday, where it also gave a first look at four more original programs coming to Apple TV+ in the spring.

Among the new shows are “The Reluctant Traveller,” “Shrinking,” “The Big Door Prize,” “Hello Tomorrow,” “Dear Edward,” “City on Fire,” “The Last Thing He Told Me,” and “Extrapolations.”
“The Afterparty” and “Schmigadoon!” will also be back.
