Apple started selling refurbished Mac Studio machines last week, but supplies in the US rapidly ran out. Refurbished Mac Studio machines have now been restocked on Apple’s online store while supplies last for those who missed out.

There are numerous reconditioned Mac Studio versions with the M1 Max or M1 Ultra CPUs available, including specialized setups with improved specifications. Compared to $1,999 for the identical brand-new model, the price for the base model with an M1 Max chip (10-core CPU and 24-core GPU), 32GB of unified memory, and a 512GB SSD starts at $1,799.

We believe that Apple’s refurbished Macs are nearly identical to their new counterparts, so this is a good chance to get a Mac Studio at a bargain with quick shipping. Every certified refurbished Mac, according to Apple, has undergone a thorough cleaning, testing, and repackaging. It also comes with a power cord and user manuals.

Refurbished Apple goods are backed by the company’s regular one-year guarantee, 14-day return policy, and AppleCare+ protection. On a rolling basis, AppleCare+ for the Mac Studio costs $169 or $59.99 per year.

In March 2022, Apple first made the Mac Studio available. Four Thunderbolt 4 connections, two USB-A ports, one HDMI port, one 10-Gigabit Ethernet port, and a 3.5mm headphone socket with support for high-impedance headphones are all available for connectivity on the computer’s rear. An SD card slot and two USB-C connectors (or two Thunderbolt 4 ports for M1 Ultra variants) are located on the front of the device.
